Printer logs windows server 2003
Id love to be able to browse deleted print jobs and see who printed them. We are also using a Windows server system for our print server. I have a horrible feeling they are not being logged as a tick box isn't ticked for logging print spooler information.
If it is an HP printer, you can log into the printer with the ip address in an internet browser and it keeps logs of who printed what document. I have a bunch and you might not get much if you are using a print server. I checked a number and just not getting that kind of information. I'm not really where else to look. All print jobs will now show up in the System Event log. Now if anyone know why Microsoft insists on making each version of the OS more unfriendly with even more clicks to complete a task, please let me know.

To grant or deny access to specific computers, groups of computers, or domains, click Edit under IP Address and Domain Name Restrictions. Using the Print Filters feature of Print Management, this is easy—a lot easier than browsing all the print queues of all your network printers! The third default printer filter is named All Printers and this displays all the printers currently on your network we have three on BOX and two on BOX which makes five in total.
