3.03 psp sony update

PSP Upgrade firmware 3. I found my old psp PSP with firmware 3. Most probably I lost them all when I moved, I can't find a single one, I just can't believe it The games started loading but all of them crashed, still no luck. So the thing to do I believe is to update the firmware to the latest and best available so I can run games from the memory card without a UMD disc inserted.

Since I'm a bit confused from being browsing this subject the last hours, can you tell me, or better, point me out to a tutorial in how to upgrade my psp from firmware 3.

I don't have any experience with older firmwares. However, I have read that the game error "" might have something to do with the folder you put it in. Did you name the folder where you put the recovery files in all capital letters?
